TWISS Drinks India, a wholly owned subsidiary of TWISS UK has launched a multi-flavoured sparkling fruit juice into the Indian market.
Targeting the youth, especially in metros, the company feels that the demand for non-alcoholic beverages expected to grow significantly in coming years. The company believes that its blend of fruit juice and aerated flavour would be a good draw in the Indian market. “We have 10 per cent fruit juice in our drinks as compared to an average of 2 per cent that our competition has,” said Nitin S Menon, Managing Director, TWISS Drinks India.
According to Premchander Rajan, Chairman, TWISS Drinks India, the overall beverage market is growing at 15 per cent on a yearly basis and presents a good opportunity for new categories like aerated fruit juices.
Further, going forward, the company plans to source fruits from the local regions. Currently, we have a packing plant in Pune, added Menon.
Apart from Bengaluru, TWISS Drinks are available in Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune.
